The difference between the MSA EAGLE 3000 and 9000 magnetic sweepers

The main difference difference between the MSA EAGLE 3000 and MSA EAGLE 9000 magnetic sweeper models lies in their design and scope of application.

The difference is not in the strength of the magnets themselves, but primarily in the working width, work organization, and cleaning productivity. Each MSA EAGLE 3000 unit used in the EAGLE 9000 system can also be operated independently.

MSA EAGLE 3000 magnetic sweeper

This magnetic sweeper is designed for the efficient collection of foreign object debris (FOD) on airport aprons and other large areas.

The working width of 3,050 mm allows for efficient collection of foreign object debris at speeds of up to 45 km/h.

Thanks to its compact design, the magnetic sweeper is also suitable for local sweeping of specific areas, such as airport stands or service roads. Like all magnetic sweepers, it is characterized by minimal maintenance requirements.

MSA EAGLE 9000 magnetic sweeper

This solution consists of three MSA EAGLE 3000 magnetic sweepers, which are connected to a triple suspension during sweeping and function as a single compact unit.

It is suitable for medium and large airports, where fast and efficient cleaning of long straight sections such as runways and taxiways is important.

The triple arrangement of three separate brooms creates a unit with an active sweeping width of 9,150 mm. The central suspension is equipped with telescopic arms with standardized connections that allow quick connection of the side brooms without the use of tools.

Which magnetic broom model to choose?

Choose the MSA EAGLE 3000 for:

  • regional and military airports
  • smaller and medium-sized areas
  • the need for independent and flexible operation

Choose the MSA EAGLE 9000 for:

  • medium and large civil airports
  • long, straight and expansive areas
