ECS-C RAM

Magnetic separator with centrically embedded rotor (ECS-C RAM)

  • Separation of metal particles in size from 50 mm
  • Centrically embedded rotor
  • 4 poles
  • Working width of 500 to 2,000 mm

Usage

The ECS-C RAM non-magnetic metal separator has a centrically embedded rotor. This makes it suitable for separating non-magnetic metals of larger sizes. A typical application is the separation of non-magnetic metals (e.g., Al cans) from municipal waste.

It finds its application especially in the following fields:

  • recycling of municipal waste
  • recycling of waste glass
  • recycling of building materials

The main advantage of the ECS-E ZEBU eddy current separator with an eccentrically mounted rotor is its affordable purchase price while maintaining reliable separation even of very small non-ferrous particles—you pay only for what actually affects the separation result.

ECS-E ZEBU

Magnetic separator with eccentrically mounted rotor (ECS-E ZEBU

  • Economical range of non-ferrous metal separators
  • Separation of metal particles from 1 mm
  • Eccentrically mounted rotor
  • 12 or 18 poles (optional)
  • Working width 500 – 2,000 mm
  • Ideal price/performance ratio

Application

The ECS-E ZEBU non-ferrous metal separator represents an economical model range of eddy current separators designed for operations requiring high-quality separation of non-ferrous metals with minimal investment costs.

The equipment uses an eccentrically mounted magnetic rotor that generates a strong alternating magnetic field. This induces eddy currents in conductive non-ferrous metals, causing them to be separated from the processed material.

The ECS-E ZEBU model is particularly suitable for:

  • recycling of municipal waste
  • recycling of plastics
  • recycling of wood
  • recycling of construction waste
  • recycling of car wrecks
  • processing of light metal fractions

You do not pay for functions you do not need

The ECS-E ZEBU model range was developed for customers looking for a reliable non-ferrous metal separator at the most favourable price possible. The basic idea is simple – you do not pay for functions that have no direct impact on separation quality.

Compared with the premium ECS-E BULL and BUFFALO ranges, ZEBU is a standardized solution without individual modifications and extra equipment. For example, you will not find quick belt replacement, automatic lubrication, advanced control systems or rotor adjustment during operation. Thanks to a simpler design, a limited number of optional elements and standardized production, acquisition costs have been significantly reduced.

However, the most important aspect remains unchanged – the separation performance itself. ECS-E ZEBU uses proven non-ferrous metal separation technology and reliably separates aluminium, copper, brass and other non-ferrous metals from a size of approximately 1 mm. The lower price is not the result of compromises in separation quality, but of removing functions and elements that have no direct influence on separation efficiency.

ECS-E ZEBU is the ideal choice for operations requiring efficient separation of non-ferrous metals, simple operation and a favourable acquisition price. You invest only in what has a real impact on the result!

ECS-E BULL

Magnetic separator with eccentrically embedded rotor (ECS-E BULL)

  • Separation of metal particles in size from 1 mm
  • Eccentrically embedded rotor
  • 12 or 18 poles (optional)
  • Setting the rotor position while the separator is running
  • 3-year warranty
  • 3 free service inspections
  • Fast belt change - within 6 minutes
  • Additional distributing flap
  • Working width of 500 to 2,000 mm

Usage

The ECS-E BULL non-magnetic metal separator has an eccentrically mounted rotor which allows the separation of non-magnetic metals even in very small sizes.

It finds its application especially in the following fields:

  • e-waste recycling
  • recycling of plastics
  • rubber recycling

Smooth setting the rotor position while the separator is running:

Separated waste can have different characteristics (fractions, material, etc.). Separators with eccentrically mounted rotors allow them to be positioned to achieve the best separating results. Our ECS-E BULL eddy current separator is unique in that it allows you to adjust the rotor position without interrupting the separator's operation! During the separation process, the characteristics of the separated waste may change (different fractions, different materials). The operator of the sorting line must react to this by changing the position of the separator rotor. Our separator allows you to make this change on the move. This reduces the downtime required to change the separator.

ECS-E BUFFALO

Magnetic separator with eccentrically embedded rotor (ECS-E BUFFALO

  • Separation of very small particles from 0.5 mm
  • Eccentrically embedded rotor
  • 40 poles
  • Separation efficiency > 99 %
  • 3-year warranty
  • 3 free service inspections
  • Setting the rotor position while the separator is running
  • Working width 500 to 1,500 mm

Usage

The ECS-E BUFFALO non-magnetic metal separator has an eccentrically mounted rotor. Thanks to the high number of magnetic poles (40 poles), it can separate even very small non-magnetic metals.

Their use makes the most sense where there is a requirement for high output purity or for the capture of very small particles that would not be captured by an eddy current separator with fewer magnetic poles.

They are particularly suitable for use in the following areas:

  • electrical waste recycling (WEEE)
  • shredded cable recycling
  • automotive glass recycling
  • plastic recycling
  • rubber recycling

Advantages of eddy current separators with a higher number of magnetic poles (40)

  • Better separation performance for small particles: A higher number of poles means more interactions with conductive particles, which increases their repulsive force.
  • Shorter exposure distance: The separator works intensively at short distances, ideal for thin or light fractions.
  • Higher separation efficiency: Minimisation of losses and increased purity of the output fractions.
