Pipeline metal detectors for liquids and pasty products are specialised devices designed to detect metal contaminants in liquid and pasty products transported through pressure or pump pipelines. They are installed in production lines of the food, meat and sausage industry, where they ensure continuous inspection of material during the production of products such as jam, oil, baby food or meat products.
We offer three models: Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 07 O (with a three-way separation valve and AMD 07 control unit), Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 05 (flexible system for various operating pressures and temperatures, with AMD 05 control unit, without rejection valve) and Mobile pipeline metal detector MEATLINE 07 (specially designed for the meat and sausage industry, mobile, with AMD 07 control unit).
Sensitivity depends on the specific model, pipe diameter, speed and product properties. The category as a whole achieves sensitivity from 0.25 mm for metal particles. For the Mobile pipeline metal detector MEATLINE 07, sensitivity is specified as Fe 0.90 mm, NFe 1.20 mm and SS 1.75 mm. For precise sensitivity determination for a specific application, we recommend a free material test.
Our pipeline metal detectors are designed for operation at pressures up to 30 bar. They are resistant to water, vibration and external electromagnetic interference. Variants are available for aggressive media, aseptic filling or high product temperatures. The detectors meet hygienic requirements for use in the food industry and are made from materials suitable for contact with food.
The three-way separation valve is an integrated rejection system in the Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 07 O. When a metal contaminant is detected, the valve automatically redirects the flow of contaminated product to a waste channel, while the remaining material continues through the production process. The Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 05 is supplied without a rejection valve — the rejection system is in this case configured according to specific customer requirements.
The detectors are equipped with two types of control units. The models Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 07 O and Mobile pipeline metal detector MEATLINE 07 use the AMD 07 unit with a 5.7" colour touch display, Ethernet connectivity, remote mesuNET access and memory for 500 products. The Pipeline style metal detector PIPELINE 05 is equipped with the AMD 05 unit with a 5-line LCD display, 4 buttons and memory for 500 products.
MEATLINE 07 is specially designed for the meat and sausage industry. As a mobile device, it can be connected directly to a vacuum filler for metal detection in pasty products during the production of meat products. It is made entirely of stainless steel with an emphasis on hygienic design — no inaccessible corners or blind pockets. It enables detection at product speeds of up to 1.2 m/s, and its IP 69 K protection rating ensures resistance to intensive washing.
We provide comprehensive service support: site visit, measurement and solution design, custom manufacturing, installation, commissioning and operator training, and authorised service. We guarantee material tests to be carried out within three days — free of charge. Test reference standards are available for regular sensitivity verification. On models with the AMD 07 control unit, mesuNET remote access is available for monitoring and managing the detector over the network.
