Detailed description of the DND-AC overband magnet modules
To ensure even greater reliability, easier maintenance, and extended equipment lifespan, the DND-AC overband magnet can be fitted with a range of practical accessories. Below is an overview of optional modules that can be configured according to operating conditions and customer requirements.

The overband magnet can be equipped with the following modules:
- 1Guide rollers
They provide more accurate conveyor belt guidance and extend the belt centering intervals. They also significantly simplify maintenance interventions and offer outstanding mechanical durability, even in demanding operating environments.
- 2Central lubrication system
The lubricant is distributed to all bearings from one central point. The solution eliminates the need to lubricate individual bearings and saves time and maintenance costs. Overband magnets are usually equipped with 4 connection points for lubrication.
- 3Overband magnet top cover
The additional cover protects the belt and overband magnet from falling material or mechanical damage. Especially recommended for operations where there is a risk of impact load from height.
- 4Sliding rails
A maintenance-free alternative to guide rollers. They ensure stable belt running without the need for frequent centering. This is suitable for operations with low service requirements.
- 5Covers of cylinders
They protect the shaft between the sidewall and the cylinder from the winding up of fibers or wires (e.g. from tires or textile materials). This is a prevention against bearing seizures and failures in demanding applications.
- 6Belt tensioning on the drive side
Only one roller is tensioned as standard. If the overband magnet is installed at an angle of 20-30 degrees, we recommend adding tensioning on the drive side as well. This will ensure better belt centering and greater operational stability.
