Mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC (created using AI)

Mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC

Let the sorting technology travel to the material – not the material to the technology. One mobile separator for multiple operations = higher utilization and faster return on investment.

  • Automatic separation of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals
  • Mobile = easy relocation between operations
  • High separation efficiency thanks to powerful neodymium magnets
  • Energy self-sufficiency and integrated PLC control

3 sorted fractions. 2 separation technologies. 1 mobile unit.
Separation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals wherever you need it and wherever it makes economic sense.

The mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC represents an efficient solution for the automatic separation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals directly at the site of waste processing. Its key advantage is mobility – the entire separation technology is integrated on an Abroll platform, which allows easy transport between recycling facilities, demolition sites or individual plants using a hook-lift vehicle. Foldable discharge conveyors for easy transport.

A single unit can thus serve multiple locations, which increases its utilization, reduces the need to purchase separate separation technology for each operation and contributes to a faster return on investment.

The ECS-E BULL RELOC combines two separation technologies in one compact unit. Unlike common Eddy current separators, which separate only non-ferrous metals, it is also equipped with a powerful neodymium magnetic separator DND-AC. This allows it to automatically split the input material into three separate fractions:

  • Ferromagnetic metals (Fe) – iron, steel, nails, screws and other magnetic metal objects.
  • Non-ferrous metals (NFe) – mainly aluminum, copper, brass and other electrically conductive non-ferrous metals.
  • Non-metallic material – for example concrete, wood, plastic, glass or other materials free of separable metal contaminants.

The mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC is used in the recycling of construction and demolition waste, municipal and industrial waste, wood and biomass, metal scrap, incinerator slag, e-waste and plastics. It makes it possible to efficiently recover iron, aluminum, copper and other recyclable metals from various materials directly at the site of their processing.

Mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC
What it consists of

Separation takes place in two automatic stages. First, ferromagnetic metals are removed from the input material, and then non-ferrous metals are separated from the non-metallic material.

Automatic separation of ferrous metals

  • Powerful neodymium magnets
  • High magnetic force, low weight
  • Magnetic core width 1,700 mm
  • Positioned above the material drop point for more effective magnetic separation
  • Integrated side chute for discharging ferrous metals

Separation of non-magnetic metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.) based on the eddy current principle

  • Eccentrically mounted magnetic rotor
  • 12 magnetic poles
  • Stepless rotor position adjustment during operation
  • Belt working width 1,800 mm
  • Separation of metal particles from 1 mm

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Mobile Eddy current separator ECS-E BULL RELOC

The ECS-E BULL RELOC combines two separation technologies. The DND-AC neodymium magnet in the first stage captures ferromagnetic metals such as iron and steel. The subsequent ECS-E BULL Eddy current separator separates aluminum, copper, brass and other suitable non-ferrous metals from the remaining material. The result is three separate material fractions.

As material falls from the feed conveyor, it naturally loosens and aerates. This exposes ferromagnetic particles more effectively to the magnetic field. Combined with powerful neodymium magnets, this creates very favorable conditions for efficient separation of ferrous metals.

The main advantage is the ability to easily transport it between different operations. The ECS-E BULL MOTIO can be used at several recycling sites, on demolition projects or at different plants within one company. Higher utilization of a single unit can significantly improve the economics of operation and the return on investment.

Not necessarily. The unit can be powered by a diesel generator, so it can also be operated at locations without an available electrical connection. Alternatively, it can be connected to the electrical grid using a cable.

No. Material is fed into the separator by an external belt conveyor, for example from a mobile screen. The ECS-E BULL RELOC includes an integrated Eddy current separator conveyor and two foldable output conveyors for discharging non-ferrous metals and cleaned material.

The unit is installed on an Abroll platform, which allows handling using a suitable hook-lift vehicle. For transport, both output conveyors fold into the transport position.

The mobile Eddy current separator is best suited for companies that process waste at multiple sites or only need to use separation technology for a limited time. Typical applications include the recycling of construction and demolition waste, municipal waste, wood, metal scrap or incinerator slag.

Yes. SOLLAU offers free separation tests of your specific material. Based on the results, the suitability of the technology can be assessed, the separator settings optimized, and a solution recommended that matches the required quality of the sorted fractions.
