Detailed description of the DND-AC overband magnet

Gauss charts: Measuring the Magnetic Force of the DND-AC Separator
We carefully test each separator and measure its performance in realistic conditions. The magnetic induction is not measured at the core (the values are artificially higher here), but at a distance of 0 - 400 mm from the conveyor belt, in 50 mm steps. This gives us relevant data about the actual magnet range.
We supply a protocol with specific measured values for each device.
Are you curious about the magnetic induction values your self-cleaning magnetic board can reach? See all the test protocols by models and sizes.
Capturing of standards (in the size and weight) - DND-AC Overband Magnet
Measured induction is important, but in practice, customers are often more interested in what metal impurities the separator can actually capture. Therefore, we tested 13 common ferromagnetic objects (e.g., nuts, nails, wires, steel balls) and determined the distance from which each DND-AC overband magnet model is able to pick them up.
Want to know how your DND-AC Overband Magnet will handle specific contaminants? See the benchmark capture test results for all models.
Recommendation: Connection of an overband magnet and a magnetic pulley
In order to achieve the highest possible degree of separation, it is recommended that – especially in case of a higher layer of material on the conveyor belt – the overband magnet DND is combined with the magnetic pulley MV (that is able to attract ferromagnetic particles from lower material layers).
