Multi-segment plate metal detector METRON 04 ProfiLine
METRON 04 ProfiLine multisegmented metal detector is used to detect metal contaminants in plastic foil strips and textile materials. Thanks to its multi-segment design, it can determine exactly in which segment the metal contaminant is located. This significantly saves operating time and reduces the good material loss.
The standard version can reliably detect metals at a speed of 10 m/s. The high-speed variant allows detecting metals at a speed of up to 20 m/s!
It can be installed vertically and horizontally. Thanks to the two-point mounting, its installation is very easy and fast.
The length of the individual detection segments is 300 mm. The size portfolio is very wide, so you will find detectors with widths of 900 - 12,000 mm in the standard offer! This means that the detection can be performed in 3 - 40 segments.
The antistatic sensor surface enables excellent detection results and therefore the METRON 04 ProfiLine requires only a minimal metal free zone.

Sensitivity of a metal detector
The detector's sensitivity depends on many parameters, such as the aperture dimensions (the lower is the aperture height, the higher is the detector sensitivity), the conveyor belt speed, the density of the product, its temperature and humidity, etc.
